The Orchestra's Board
The JPON is managed by a six-members team. Every chairman and chairwoman is a musician in the orchestra and has an own special field of competence.

David Scharmacher, First Chairman
Born in 1977 and studied bassoon, David Scharmacher joined the orchestra in 2000. After he has worked a year on the board for Press and Public Relations, he was elected in 2008 as First Chairman and has therefore assumed the overall-coordination of the Young Philharmonic Orchestra Lower Saxony.

Ulrich Bremeier, Finances
The violist is a full-time secondary school teacher and member of the orchestra since 2008. In 2010 he has been elected for the second Chairman. He is responsable for all financial matters.

Eike Nimz, Logistics
He was born in 1989 in Helmstedt. Since 2010 he is a JPON-member and has been elected to the board in 2011. Eike Nimz is responsible for all logistics and organization of special instruments. Since 2010 he is studying instrumental pedagogy for Trombone in Hannover.

Florian Zerbaum, Public Relations
Born in 1989, he is a member of the orchestra since 2008 and was elected later that year to the Board. He studied at the Hochschule "Hanns Eisler" in Berlin and is responsible for public relations. Since March 2010 he received a scholarship from the Karajan Academy of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.

Nele Schaumburg, Casting Coordination
Nele Schaumburg was born in Wuppertal and is a member of the orchestra since 2007. In 2008 she began studying the violin at the College of Music in Lübeck. After she has served one year organizing the violin-cast, Nele 2009 also acquired the position of the score supervisor and is responsible for the orchestra's cast.
